We took a round table - everyone was afraid of the corners, although on a rectangular one they are also beveled. And there will be a bigger round one, you can draw there, assemble Legos, and even dance (and this has happened!)).
As for reliability and durability - the table served us for 3 years - we bought it when the child was 1.5 years old and up to 4.5, then sold it. Nothing happened to the table - well, the only thing was that the felt-tip pens and pencils were rubbed off - small abrasions are visible in those places, and the table is intact.
Convenient, as I already said - everything fit. And it’s lightweight in general; it wasn’t difficult for me to drag it to another place.

Hello. I am a mother who before buying furniture or an expensive toy. I always scour the Internet looking for Pros and Cons. This is what happened when buying furniture for a child. I chose IKEA Mammut based on design and price. I read the reviews. I decided to TAKE IT!!! Now, a year later, I’ll tell you about the real pros and cons.
We have: a round table (light green), a chair (blue) and a stool (light green).
The furniture is easy to assemble. It is really beautiful and bright, but before purchasing you should take the choice of color seriously. I understand that the children's room is a riot of colors, but believe me, without realizing it, stick to certain colors. And in my case, I made a mistake and took what was available: a light green table and stool. And here it stands out against the background of the blue and red interior. In some ways this is a plus: the association with a green meadow.
For a year the furniture is intact, no breaks or cracks. At the same time, it is actively used by both a 3-year-old child and mom and dad weighing from 50 to 70 kg.
Now about the cons. The main and only negative is washing. The manufacturer's website states that it cleans well, just wipe with a damp cloth. Yeah...it’s not that simple. On the second day of use, the child actively drew not only on paper, but also on everything that came under a pencil. The surface of the table and chair was damaged. She took a damp cloth and began to wash it. The result is 50/50. Some washed, some didn’t. At the same time, it was the color of the pencil (wax) blue, black, red that did not give up. The color became lighter, but the pencil was still visible against the background of the light green table. Then the artillery of a sponge and washing powder came to the rescue. Oh miracle!!! The pencil retreated. But the color of the table and chair became lighter in the places where I washed. To say that I was upset means to say nothing (((. In room lighting, this difference in color is not noticeable, but in direct sunlight, the table looks terrible. There was only one way out of the situation, move the table to another corner, where the light does not fall as much and stick the protection on. I used (with double-sided tape) a serving stand for the plates. In the future I want to order a sticker for the entire table.
My verdict on this furniture. Take!!! But immediately make protection in the place where the child will sit. Well, or be prepared for a stain if suddenly something doesn’t wash off. After all, in other ways she’s really GOOD!!!

A couple of months ago our beloved son got his own room! And finally we have the opportunity to create a comfortable space for his games and creative experiments.
In connection with this wonderful event, our no less wonderful grandmother was presented with a set of IKEA MAMMUT furniture: a round table and two bright blue chairs.
To be honest, I really love Ikea. And this set of furniture made me, and most importantly, our son very happy too. In 2 months he passed the test with paints, pencils, ballpoint pen, plasticine and slime (aka hand chewing gum). Everything was washed off without any problems with a regular dish sponge. Even stains that were not washed off in a timely manner... The only negative is that there are scratches of unknown origin on the surface.
In addition, the table and chairs are comfortable for both children and adults. Our son is sociable, and loves when someone keeps him company during creative activities. Therefore, we often sit and create together. The chairs can easily support an adult. I really like the legs that widen towards the bottom - it gives it stability. And even the most fidgety child is unlikely to fall down.
The furniture itself is light and without sharp corners.
By the way, I can’t say that a round table takes up a lot of space. The room is small, but everything fits perfectly, and there is more than enough space for active games. If desired, you can have a snack at this table and receive small guests. It also serves as a great place for playing hide and seek and a comfortable garage for your favorite cars :)
The chair is also cool. A chair is always better than a stool. Especially with such a comfortable backrest with a slight slope.
I can't call the price low. But the furniture justifies its price. Table 1999 rubles, chairs 699 rubles. So grab the discounts and buy for your kids without hesitation. I recommend.
