If you are painting laminate flooring that has not yet been laid, for example, each plank separately, do not lean them against the wall (just lay them on the floor). Since the board will bend slightly and it will be more difficult to lay such a laminate.
- The laminate is usually varnished in 2-3 layers. In this case, the second layer is applied only after the previous one has dried. If you are painting the floor a different color, 2 coats of paint will be enough. Can laminate flooring be repainted? As practice shows, laminate floors are painted once every 3-4 years.
Wait until paints and varnishes are completely dry before walking on laminate flooring. Usually this time is indicated on the paint can. It is better to bring in furniture after 1-2 days to avoid scratches. During this time, the painted surface will gain the required strength.
