Gypsum, wood and composites based on it, metal, polyurethane, foam, plastic - these are the main materials from which modern decor is made.
To work you will need:
- decorative elements that match the style of the kitchen;
- glue for metal;
- adhesive primer;
- chalk paint in white and primary colors;
- brushes for painting and waxing: 2 round and 1 flat;
- colorless and dark wax (the latter can be replaced with colorless wax by mixing it with brown paint);
- masking tape, film, sandpaper, napkins;
- suitable tool for cutting moldings.
The procedure for aging a refrigerator:
- Sand the surface of the refrigerator and degrease it.
- Come up with a decor option, trim and adjust the decorative elements and glue them in the right place.
- Paint the refrigerator twice with white paint, allowing each coat to dry.
- Apply one layer of paint of the main color in cross movements, this is how the scuffed effect will be created. Handles and decorative elements must also be painted over.
- Cover decorative elements with colorless wax. After drying, remove excess with a napkin. And cover the same places with dark wax.
