The edges of the batting are stretched, bent and fixed with a furniture stapler. The upholstery fabric is laid with the wrong side facing you and a seat is placed on top. The edges are folded first on one side and secured with staples, then pulled tight and secured on the other edge. After assembly, the seat is attached back to the base.
