Short Roman blinds look great on a regular small window. But if you try to use them with non-standard large window openings with many sashes, bay windows and French windows, you will always look like a poor compromise.

Drapery is the folds of the curtain, achieved by the length of the fabric exceeding the length of the fastening (cornice).

It is available in all floor models. This is important so that it does not look like a blanket that has been stretched out to dry.

Regarding the choice of the ratio of the length of draperies and types of fabrics (and how to wash them) - consult with a specialist at the place of purchase - there are too many options, new items are constantly appearing, not everyone has a full range - there is no point in going into details that are constantly changing.

This is, first of all, practicality and budget. Yes, long ones look cool and more on them later. But often they cannot be used at all (U-shaped kitchens with a window in the middle, corner kitchens with a countertop against a wall with a window, etc.).
