Stages

First step. A project is being drawn up. You do not need to have an education as an architect or designer. Make a regular sketch, or simply copy a project you like on the Internet
But it is important to have accurate data on dimensions, quantity of materials, etc. Enter into the project all the data about the stove, sheathing materials, steam room, weight of the structure, load on the trailer axle
Second step. Preparation and installation of stiffeners. The trailer will be your foundation. For the trailer, provide the required supports (1 in the center) and 4 additional posts. This is necessary for stability. Next, stiffeners are installed, on which walls, ceilings, etc. will be installed.
Third step. Frame. Buy ready-made structures made from building materials. Here it is better to contact those who deal with frame houses. Order the required sizes and required number of elements from them. As a result, you will need to make a floor from logs and boards, connect them to the frame with fasteners, install beams for the roof, install rafters and complete everything with finishing.
Fourth step. Stove. As a firebox, you can take a classic potbelly stove or another metal structure of the required size. It is not worth laying out a brick oven, as it weighs too much. The stove must be installed outside the steam room itself. Do not use equipment that heats the bath more than 60 degrees. It is better to cover the metal of the stove with refractory materials and tiles. If you use stones in the oven, additionally tie them with wire.
Fifth step. Exterior finishing. It is best to sheathe the frame with high-quality clapboard. It is not that expensive, but it weighs little and has an attractive appearance. Sixth step. Interior decoration

Arrangement of stiffeners. Frame
The beginning of arranging a mini-sauna on wheels is the dismantling of unnecessary elements. Since the structure will experience constant load, a load-bearing frame should be made. Weld metal profiles onto its base and attach stiffeners.
When arranging a bathhouse in a trailer, the frame should be assembled from ready-made elements. You can make them yourself or order them.
So, the frame assembly process consists of the following steps:
- Assembling the floor from support beams and boards.
- Installation of the floor on the structural frame.
- Installation of wall frame.
- Assembly of walls.
- Installation of roof support beams and rafter elements.
- Cover the roof with a metal profile.
You can cover the roof only after installing the stove. The same is true for interior/exterior wall decoration.
Electric lighting should be made of heat-resistant wiring. To do this, use heat-resistant and waterproof lamps. But what if you want to make a mobile sauna in an old SUV? For example, such as URAL, ZIL or GAZ? The technological process is practically no different. The only thing is that the steam room is installed instead of the body. By the way, a truck base will make a more stable bathhouse than a car trailer.
Advantages and disadvantages
Like any design, an autobath has its pros and cons.

- for commercial use, you will need to obtain a number of hygiene certificates to confirm that the building is fireproof.
Thermal insulation
In order for a bathhouse on wheels to be reliable, it must be properly insulated. The optimal width of the thermal insulation cake for a mobile structure is 15 cm. The sequence of thermal insulation is:
- Installation of sheathing made of beams with a cross-section of 6 cm.
- Laying vapor barrier and mineral wool.
- Heat reflector flooring, such as foil.
- The joints of the foil should be sealed with tape.
- Installation of counter lathing.
If you are making a bathhouse in an old truck, then thermal insulation should be applied to the walls. In all other cases - on a metal frame covered with wood.
Selection of building materials.

a) timber 150x150 mm, although it is possible to use timber with a cross-section of 100 mm or 200 mm;

h) sheet asbestos for insulating wooden structures from temperature influences, including for walls near the stove and elements located next to the chimney;
i) cement, sand and crushed stone for foundation construction (recommendation - cement should be purchased before starting construction);
j) roofing material for the roof, which can be selected based on personal preferences and the main thing is that it fits seamlessly into the surrounding roofs of other buildings;

DIY interior
The ceiling and walls are finished on top of thermal insulation with clapboard or block house made of linden, aspen or cedar.
